Express Entry Program
Express Entry is an online system that is used to manage applications from skilled workers for permanent residence. Unlike other programs, with EE, applicant profiles are evaluated and assigned a score using a point-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Applicants are invited to apply for permanent residence, as the primary goal of this program, depending on the scores that are drawn out for each lottery date. Applications to the following immigration programs are managed through the Express Entry process:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program
- Canadian Experience Class
- Federal Skilled Trades
- Provincial Nominee Program
