Family sponsorship

Family reunification remains one of the pillars of the Canadian immigration system. If you are a Canadian permanent resident or citizen with a family member who wants to immigrate to Canada, you may be able to help them immigrate to Canada.
Who can you sponsor under this class?
  • A Spouse, common-law or conjugal partner
  • Dependent children
  • Parents and grandparents
Adoption of a child
  • There are two processes that you must go through when you adopt a child from another country: the adoption process and the immigration process. We can assist you with the immigration process of a foreign adoption.
  • Under special circumstances, a sibling, nephew, niece, or grandchild under 18 years who is unmarried and whose parents are deceased may qualify under this class.
